Job Description

Poulin | Willey Trial Lawyers is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing personal injury litigation team. This role is built for a licensed attorney who wants real courtroom exposure, hands-on litigation training, and the opportunity to learn alongside experienced trial attorneys in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You'll begin with a lighter caseload while being trained in the litigation process and case handling expectations at Poulin | Willey. You will also second chair active litigation cases to gain firsthand courtroom and trial experience as you continue developing your skills. We are looking for someone hungry to learn, comfortable working hard, and excited to grow into a strong litigation attorney. What You Will Do Manage a caseload with mentorship and training from senior attorneys Learn and execute litigation case steps from filing through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial proceedings Second chair active litigation cases alongside experienced trial attorneys Work closely with litigation staff to move cases efficiently Provide excellent communication and client service throughout representation Requirements Active law license in South Carolina , in good standing, OR a confirmed pending swear-in date Candidates awaiting bar results or planning to sit for a future bar exam will not be considered Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced litigation environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Interest in litigation, trial work, and client advocacy What We Offer Hands-on litigation and courtroom training Direct mentorship from experienced trial attorneys Early exposure to hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation Growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding personal injury firm Competitive base compensation plus bonus opportunities Location This role can sit anywhere in South Carolina , provided the candidate holds an active SC law license (or has a pending swear-in date).
