The Role Manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters from initial instruction through to resolution. Handle a broad range of medical negligence claims, including complex and high-value cases. Work closely with senior lawyers on technically challenging matters. Build trusted relationships with clients, providing clear and compassionate advice throughout the claims process. Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and other legal documentation. Review medical records and expert evidence to develop effective case strategies. Attend court hearings where appropriate and liaise with Counsel on more complex proceedings. Maintain accurate case management records and time recording. Contribute to the continued success and growth of a highly respected specialist team. You Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience. Previous experience handling clinical negligence matters. Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail. Excellent communication and client care skills. Able to manage your own caseload with confidence and autonomy. Empathetic and personable approach when supporting clients through sensitive circumstances. Organised, proactive and commercially aware. A team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive working culture.
