$120,000•$150,000 base (market-adjusted) This role offers a rare opportunity to be the firm's dedicated Employment Attorney—owning and building the practice with strong referral flow, partner mentorship, and a clear path to partnership. Position Summary We are seeking an Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate is a management-side employment law generalist capable of handling both litigation and counseling matters. This is a foundational role with significant growth potential to build and lead the firm's employment practice. Key Responsibilities  Represent employers in employment litigation (wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment)  Advise corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws  Draft employment policies, handbooks, and agreements  Handle administrative proceedings (EEOC, Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission)  Provide internal employment counsel to firm leadership  Build and grow the firm's employment law practice  Work closely with partners and develop client relationships Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school 3-5 years of employment law experience (management-side required) Experience with both litigation and counseling work Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing skills Interest in building and leading a practice area Ability to work on-site in Omaha or relocate Compensation & Growth Base salary of $120,000•$150,000 depending on experience. Strong upside in a lower cost•of-living market with a clear path to partnership and practice ownership.
