Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Requirements and Properties Work Onsite Full Time Schedule Full Time Job Description . Provide legal advice and counsel to General Liability Claims Department regarding coverage issues and claim files with potential for litigation.

• Attend claim review meetings to provide litigation advice.
• Research and write brief opinions on legal issues.
• Analyze coverage issues on litigated claim files, and claim files with potential for litigation.
• Recommend reserve and payment changes as necessary for the file.
• Conduct legal research as necessary on pending suit files.
• Assist negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement procedures.
• Handle suits on third party litigated claim files, including collaborating with and managing outside counsel.
• Coordinate referral of litigated claims requests to outside counsel.
• Conduct audits of litigated claims files.
• Review company policy forms as needed.
• Assist Forms Committee by proposing changes, revisions, or amendments to company policy forms, making appropriate policy language recommendations, and drafting policy language for new forms.
