Beninato & Matrafajlo is seeking a driven, high-energy Associate Attorney to join our dual-practice firm. We are looking for an advocate who is ready to manage a diverse caseload that spans both NJ Superior Court (Civil Litigation) and the Division of Workers' Compensation (Administrative Law). Whether you just passed the Bar or have a couple of years of practice, we provide the direct mentorship and consistent courtroom exposure you need to become a powerhouse advocate. Key Responsibilities Litigate:
Handle a high-volume calendar including motions, depositions, and trials.Case Management:
Oversee files from initial intake through settlement, judgment, or award.Strategic Advocacy:
Navigate the "no-fault" Workers' Comp system while simultaneously building negligence-based Personal Injury claims.Counsel:
Provide compassionate, direct legal advice to clients during the most difficult moments of their lives.Communication:
Maintain consistent contact with clients to ensure they are apprised of every step in their legal journey.Qualifications:
Licensure:
Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey. Only those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship will be considered for this positionExperience:
0-2 years (Recent grads and judicial clerks are encouraged to apply).Attributes:
