Job Overview We are seeking an experienced dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience within NJ Family Law. Possess a strong understanding of family law and demonstrate proficiency in legal research, drafting, and document management. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients. Duties Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings, trials, and client meetings by organizing case files and documentation. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to family law matters. Manage case files using document management systems, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely. Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling phone communications with clients and other parties. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards in the legal profession. Assist with workers compensation law matters as needed. Skills Proficiency in document management systems to ensure efficient organization of case files. Strong executive administrative support skills with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Solid understanding of family law principles and practices. Experience in legal drafting with the ability to create clear and concise documents.
