Job Description

An established firm based in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid arrangement. This Workers' Compensation Associate will have experience with workers' compensation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active admission to practice in New Jersey3-5 years of workers' compensation experience with the ability to manage an existing caseloadFamiliarity with New Jersey State Rules of Court, Federal Rules of Court, and Rules of Evidence preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, ProLaw, and e-document management systems preferredStrong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issuesDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other legal documentsRepresent clients in court hearings and proceedingsCollaborate with senior attorneys on complex mattersManage a caseload with appropriate supervision while maintaining client relationshipsParticipate in motion practice, conferences, and trial preparation as neededMaintain billable hours in alignment with firm expectations
