Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Case Coordinator to join our legal team. This role will primarily focus on managing and coordinating medical records, medical billing, and property damage claims related to personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and able to communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and other third parties. 1 year in Personal Injury Law is required. Responsibilities Request, track, and organize medical records and billing statements from healthcare providers. Follow up regularly to ensure timely receipt of documents and resolve issues with incomplete or inconsistent records. Maintain and update client files in the case management system (e.g., Filevine), ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate with clients regarding treatment updates, billing issues, or documentation needs. Coordinate property damage claims, including assisting clients with repair estimates, rental car issues, and insurance adjuster communication. Open bodily injury and property damage claims with insurance carriers and act as a point of contact for ongoing claim communication. Assist in managing health insurance subrogation, including initiating contact with health plans, tracking lien amounts, and ensuring resolution at settlement. Record all case-related costs and ensure documentation is stored properly for accounting and reimbursement purposes. Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to support case development and resolution. Provide general case support, including scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and preparing outgoing correspondence. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and deadlines related to record management, property damage, and insurance claims handling. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience in a legal, medical, or insurance setting is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine) preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred but not required.
