Job Description

Fast-paced, high-volume litigation office is seeking an Entry-Level Associate Attorney or candidate pending admission to the New York State Bar. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and motions Appearing for Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), arbitrations, and mediations Preparing files for hearings and trial Managing a caseload in a high-volume environment while meeting deadlines and office expectations
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to the New York State Bar or pending admission Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills Ability to take direction while also working independently and proactively Capable of handling cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel for court appearances throughout Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Kings, Bronx, New York, and Richmond counties, with occasional appearances in Rockland and Orange counties
