The ideal candidate will represent clients in personal injury cases, providing expert legal counsel and advocacy. The attorney will be responsible for navigating the complexities of personal injury law and ensuring that our clients receive the compensation they deserve. Key Responsibilities Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases Conduct thorough case investigations and gather evidence Draft legal documents, including pleadings, complaints, and motions Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court Advise clients on their legal rights and options throughout the litigation process Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and relevant regulations Qualifications Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in the state of New York 4+ years of experience Proven experience in personal injury law and litigation Strong negotiation and trial advocacy skills Familiarity with New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines Benefits Competitive Base Salary ($150K-$200K DOE) Bonus Structure PTO/Sick Time For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
