Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury / NY Labor Law Litigation Are you an experienced plaintiff-side litigator with hands-on experience handling New York Labor Law matters arising from construction accidents and serious personal injury claims? We are seeking an attorney to manage sophisticated labor law and personal injury litigation from intake through resolution while working alongside experienced trial attorneys and a strong litigation support team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful, high-impact cases involving construction site injuries, premises liability, and complex liability analysis under New York Labor Law. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys litigation strategy, direct client advocacy, and working closely with partners in a collaborative environment with long-term growth potential. Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience with meaningful exposure to New York Labor Law and plaintiff-side personal injury litigation
- Demonstrated experience handling matters involving construction accidents, workplace injuries, and claims under NY Labor Law Sections 200, 240(1), and/or 241(6)
- Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred; defense experience in labor law/construction accident matters will also be considered
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in New York
- Admission to the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York preferred
- Federal court admission and New Jersey admission are a plus
- Ability to independently manage an active litigation caseload and handle court appearances
- Experience taking and defending depositions, motion practice, discovery management, and settlement negotiations
- Strong legal writing and advocacy skills
- Exceptional communication, client counseling, and organizational abilities
- Experience supervising paralegals and litigation support staff preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management platforms Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff-side New York Labor Law and personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation or resolution
- Evaluate liability and damages involving construction site and workplace injury claims
- Draft pleadings, bills of particulars, motions, discovery responses, and appellate submissions as needed
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Develop litigation strategy and collaborate with partners on complex or high-exposure matters
- Coordinate with experts, investigators, and medical providers throughout case progression
- Maintain proactive client communication and provide thoughtful guidance throughout litigation
- Supervise assigned paralegals and support staff while driving case momentum and deadlines Work Environment
