We fight for people injured through no fault of their own, the majority in motor vehicle accidents. We move fast, treat clients like family, and run a high-volume, well-organized practice built on clear systems and a strong team. We're hiring Pre-Litigation Attorneys for both our Melville and Queens offices. We welcome candidates at any experience level — from newly admitted attorneys we'll train, to seasoned pre-lit attorneys who can run a caseload independently. What you'll do Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury files from intake through settlement or handoff to litigation. Evaluate liability, damages, and case value; build a strategy to maximize each client's recovery. Draft and negotiate demand packages — including injuries, treatment, procedures, surgeries, and the full course of care. Communicate with insurance adjusters and opposing parties to negotiate the best possible settlements. Keep clients informed and supported throughout their case, in clear and timely communication. Gather and review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation. Document every call, update, and decision in our case management system (Filevine). Identify cases that should move into litigation and coordinate a clean handoff. What we're looking for J.D. and admission to the New York Bar (active and in good standing). — many of our clients are Spanish-speaking). Personal injury experience preferred; we will consider strong candidates at all experience levels, including recent admittees. Strong negotiation, writing, and organizational skills. Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload and prioritizing effectively. Client-focused, responsive, and a team player.
