This position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse array of legal matters, including personal injury and property damage claims. You will be responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, and developing strategic defenses to protect our clients' interests. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented attorney to work in our congenial law firm. Duties Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury,
  • property damage, and liability claims from inception through resolution.
Conduct thorough legal research using legal research tools to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence. Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies to resolve disputes efficiently while safeguarding client interests. Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings to advocate on behalf of clients. Collaborate with clients, experts, witnesses, and colleagues to gather evidence and build strong case defenses. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in New York Proven negotiation skills with a track record of effectively resolving disputes. Experience with legal administrative tasks including case management and document drafting.
