Currently comprised of a team of 5 attorneys alongside dedicated paralegals and support staff, the firm is looking to add a Junior and/or Senior Level Attorney. The firm's primary focus is estate planning, but they also maintain robust practices in elder law and probate. The firm is deeply committed to a supportive, friendly culture and is protective of its team's work-life balance. With their primary office in Queens and a newly opened location in Manhattan, they are expanding their footprint and seeking attorneys to join their growing team. Available Tracks The firm is looking to hire multiple attorneys and is open to candidates at different stages of their careers: Junior Attorney Track (1+ years of experience): Designed for an ambitious attorney looking to sharpen their skills, learn from seasoned practitioners, and take ownership of client matters under excellent mentorship. This candidate would be primarily based in the firm's Queens office with the potential for a hybrid schedule. Senior Attorney Track (4+ years of experience): Designed for an established estate planning attorney who can independently manage complex high-net-worth planning, lead client strategies, and help oversee sophisticated matters. This candidate could be based in the firm's Queens or Manhattan office. Key Responsibilities Counsel clients through the design and implementation of comprehensive estate plans (including Wills, Revocable/Irrevocable Trusts, and advanced tax-planning strategies). Manage elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and asset protection. Navigate clients through the probate and estate administration process from inception to completion. Draft, review, and execute sophisticated legal documents with a high level of precision. Collaborate effectively with paralegals and support staff to ensure seamless case management.
Qualifications & Skills Education:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York State Bar.
Experience:
Junior:
1+ years of dedicated experience in estate planning, probate, or elder law.
Senior:
4+ years of experience primarily focused on high-net-worth estate planning. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive client matters with empathy and discretion. $120,000 to $250,000 base salary, highly dependent on experience and track level.
