Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal professional to engage in a diverse range of practice areas, including family law, estate planning, bankruptcy, and more. The Associate Attorney will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal services, conducting thorough research, drafting legal documents, and supporting litigation efforts and ultimately making court appearances. Duties Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis. Draft and review a variety of legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Assist in managing cases across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, landlord-tenant disputes, family law matters, securities regulations, workers' compensation claims, personal injury cases, tribal law issues, patent applications, and environmental compliance. Support attorneys during litigation proceedings by preparing discovery requests, organizing case files, and coordinating depositions. Engage in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all procedural rules and deadlines. Utilize legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis to gather pertinent case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction(s). Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis. Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents. Strong analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail for effective legal drafting and research. Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a law office setting or legal administrative experience is preferable but not required. Exceptional negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders. $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
