Job Description

Our firm is growing, and we're looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You'll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Compensation:
$100,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses yearly
Responsibilities:
Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information Appear as legal counsel on the clients' behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation 2-3 years of litigation experience in personal injury, specifically in motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil litigation Client Intakes Assemble Demand Packages for Insurance Carriers Settlement Negotiations Court Appearances, Depositions Manage a team of 3 Personal Injury paralegals
Qualifications:
Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary Proficiency in computers is vital About Company At The Rizzuto Law Firm, we put our employees first so clients can come first.
