Litigation Associate in Walden,NY,US

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of litigation experience in New York State. The ideal candidate will have significant courtroom experience, strong legal writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution.

Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of litigation from case intake through trial, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, and negotiations Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and memoranda Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials Manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload in collaboration with senior attorneys and support staff Maintain client communication and foster strong client relationships

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in New York, with a focus on civil or commercial matters Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills Proven ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines Trial or arbitration experience preferred but not required Exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
