Willing to train new graduates. A well-established Personal Injury Defense firm in White Plains is seeking an attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage cases from initial assignment through trial and will handle a variety of complex matters, including medical malpractice, municipal liability, school cases, automobile accidents, and other general liability litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to grow professionally, gain significant courtroom experience, and work in a supportive environment with long-term career potential. Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through trial, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, court appearances, depositions, and trial preparation Conduct legal research, draft motions, memoranda, and other legal documents Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure to provide well-supported recommendations and reports Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York 2+ years of litigation experience , preferably in personal injury defense, insurance defense, or general liability Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience handling depositions, court conferences, and motion practice Ability to manage a caseload independently while working within a team environment Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Experience in real estate, wills, or trusts is a plus but not required Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Yearly performance bonus Very generous profit-sharing plan Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional development and taking on personal clients Supportive, established firm environment with long-term growth potential About the Firm Our firm has a longstanding reputation in White Plains for high-quality defense representation across medical malpractice, municipal, school, auto, and general liability matters.
