Job Description

Job description Personal Injury Attorney Slater & Zurz, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results driven personal injury attorney to join the firm. The ideal candidate should have the ability to handle a large, active docket of both pre-litigation and litigation files and aggressively advocate for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage and work up assigned personal injury cases, including pre-suit claim investigation, settlement negotiations, lien resolution, preparing pleadings, motion practice, research and writing, discovery, attendance at court conferences and hearings, litigating cases to verdict, etc. Work with and support teams within the firm. Maintain communication and positive relationships with clients. Supervise support staff.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in Ohio. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, preferably in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, and/or prior claims handling experience. Excellent research, writing, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of NEOS case management software preferred. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive work environment to advance firm goals.
