3+ years -see below Position Overview We are seeking a thoughtful and detail-oriented Estate Planning Attorney to join our Akronoffice. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-12 years of experience in estate planning and related areas or 3-5 years of experience if the experience is with high net-worth clients, and will be eager to provide compassionate, client-focused counsel while managing a diverse caseload. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with individuals and families to develop tailored strategies that protect assets, minimize tax exposure, and achieve long-term goals. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives. Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents that align with clients' objectives. Counsel clients on probate and trust administration matters. Assist with wealth transfer, tax planning, and business succession planning. Build and maintain client relationships, delivering clear and empathetic guidance through complex decisions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admission to the Ohio Bar. Minimum of 9-12 years experience or 3-5 years of experience if with high-net worth clients Experience with Federal Estate Tax Strong drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and sensitivity to client needs. Commitment to excellent client service and professional integrity.
