Associate Counsel

We are looking for an Associate Counsel to join our team in Canton, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in providing legal expertise and guidance across various aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial contracts, insurance law, and legal research, along with a proactive approach to supporting business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and business objectives.
• Analyze legal documents submitted by customers and provide detailed feedback.
• Conduct research on complex legal topics and offer strategic advice to internal teams.
• Collaborate with Claim Services to address legal concerns related to benefit payments.
• Provide HR with legal guidance on employment laws and employee relations matters.
• Create and implement solutions for legal challenges in insurance-related cases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable legal insights.
• Support the organization's risk management strategies through thorough legal analysis.
