Bar Bankruptcy Full Job Description Location:
Cleveland, OH (in-office with hybrid flexibility after onboarding) A well-established, Am Law 200 super-regional firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Litigation Practice Group in Cleveland. This is a substantive role with early ownership of cases, direct partner access, and a real path to building a book over time. The associate will work closely with a managing partner on complex business disputes for regional, national, and global clients. What you will do Manage commercial and business litigation matters from inception through discovery and trial preparation Handle disputes involving financial services, securities, and complex financial transactions Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations Draft dispositive and discovery motions, discovery responses, and client-facing reports Develop case strategy and own day-to-day case management with meaningful autonomy What we are looking for 4+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on commercial or business disputes Active Ohio bar admission (required) Experience taking and defending depositions Bankruptcy and creditors' rights experience is a strong plus Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills A self-starter who can manage a docket and work directly with senior partners Compensation and benefits Salary range of $150,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience Full benefits package, hybrid schedule, and a clear track for advancement This firm is a top-ranked litigation shop with deep bench strength across more than 25 practice and industry groups and a reputation for client service and trial excellence across the Midwest.
