The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing digital and paper files, communicating with clients, scheduling client and court appointments. This position requires strong communication skills, experience in the electronic filing of Domestic Relations cases and managing electronic discovery. Salary based upon experience. Experience Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law office or court is required. Specific experience with court Domestic Relations electronic filing is required . Specific experience with Domestic Relations filing is required . Use of Microsoft Word, Adobe editing and Outlook mail. Organization and submission of domestic relations packets is essential along with handling electronic discovery. Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of legal documents and case files. Filing Domestic Relations legal documents Manage the scheduling of appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys. Contact with clients to keep them appraised of events in their case and respond to questions . Utilize legal case management software such as practice panther to organize and track case progress. Prepare and file legal documents with courts. Handle new client inquiry and processing. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards in the law office.
