Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Litigation Associate Attorney Worthington, Ohio An established and growing law firm in the Columbus metro area is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding practice. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of civil litigation matters while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment. This role is well-suited for a motivated attorney looking to increase courtroom exposure, develop case strategy skills, and build strong client relationships while advancing their long-term legal career. What You'll Do Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from initial case assessment through resolution. Represent clients in state and federal courts. Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, and participate in mediations. Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies. Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Prepare witnesses and clients for depositions, hearings, and trial. Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments, litigation objectives, and budgeting considerations. Collaborate with firm leadership and colleagues to deliver exceptional client service. Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio Bar. Approximately 2-5 years of civil litigation experience. Demonstrated experience handling contested matters and courtroom proceedings. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple active matters. Client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
