The Richland County Prosecutor's Office is seeking a skilled and motivated Criminal Assistant Prosecutor to represent the State in criminal proceedings, support victims, and pursue fair outcomes with integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, prepare, and prosecute felony criminal cases Work closely with law enforcement, victims, and witnesses throughout the legal process Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings and/or responses Represent the State of Ohio at various court proceedings, including prelims, arraignments, hearings, pretrials, and trials Participate in training, community outreach, continuing legal education, and remain in good standing with the

Ohio Supreme Court Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court Strong oral and written advocacy skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail and timeliness Demonstrated commitment to justice, fairness, and community safety Prior prosecutorial or courtroom experience is preferred but not required
