Associate Attorney

Lopez, Severt & Pratt Co. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our established Troy, Ohio law firm. Starting salary begins at $75,000 and is commensurate with experience, with matching 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, comp time, and performance-based bonuses. We are looking for a motivated attorney who is professional, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career with a respected local firm. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage deadlines, work with clients, and appear in court as needed. Practice Areas The Associate Attorney may assist with matters involving: Domestic relations Criminal defense Civil litigation Estate planning General legal research and drafting Court appearances Client meetings and communication Preparation of pleadings, motions, and other legal documents Qualifications Qualified candidates should have: An active license to practice law in Ohio Strong legal research and writing skills Good communication and organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks Professional demeanor with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and staff Courtroom experience preferred, but not required Newer attorneys with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits Starting salary begins at $75,000 per year and is commensurate with experience.
