Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal areas in criminal defense including violations to felonies. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, demonstrate excellent negotiation abilities, and have experience with legal drafting and administrative procedures. As an integral part of our firm, you will contribute to delivering comprehensive legal solutions while gaining valuable exposure to multiple practice areas in a fast-paced environment. Duties Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal analysis. Draft clear and precise legal documents including briefs, contracts, pleadings, and memoranda tailored to various practice areas. Assist in managing client cases by preparing for hearings, negotiations, and mediations across diverse legal fields. Support attorneys in litigation processes by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and preparing discovery materials. Engage in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes. Stay updated on current laws and regulations affecting estate planning, environmental policies, immigration procedures, and other relevant areas. Maintain detailed records of case activities and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions. Proven experience or internships in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law or litigation. Familiarity with legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw. Demonstrated ability to draft comprehensive legal documents with clarity and professionalism. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of facilitating effective agreements. Experience working within a law office environment handling legal administrative tasks efficiently. Pay:
