Job Description
Description Company Overview Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. (ARI) is a vertically integrated specialty subcontractor providing precision drilling, blasting, crushing, and aggregate services across 24 states. Founded in 1978 and family-owned for over four decades, ARI partners with leading prime contractors on projects with demanding execution standards. ARI operates within a highly complex regulatory environment, including federal explosives licensing, HAZMAT transportation, MSHA mining requirements, and multi-state prevailing wage and labor frameworks. The company is continuing to grow and evolve its leadership structure, governance, and long-term business strategy. Position Overview Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. (ARI) is seeking a General Counsel to serve as the company's chief legal officer and a full peer on the executive leadership team. This role is embedded in daily executive decision-making and provides strategic legal guidance across contracts, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, corporate governance, and multi-state operations. As ARI's first internal legal leader, the General Counsel owns legal strategy and risk allocation across the enterprise, with the autonomy to build and scale the company's legal function from the ground up. This role operates at the intersection of operations, risk, and long-term ownership strategy, supporting a highly regulated, multi-state business with complex operational exposure. This role is built for someone who wants to help shape an organization, not simply advise on it. The General Counsel will have a meaningful hand in ARI's long-term architecture, including governance, ownership strategy, and the legal and operational systems that allow the company to scale. That work sits at the center of where ARI is going. Requirements Job Requirements /
