This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted attorney or an attorney with up to 3 years of experience seeking meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client contact, hands-on mentorship, and the opportunity to build a long-term practice in the Lehigh Valley. Our practice includes family law, criminal defense, protection from abuse matters, custody, support, traffic, and related litigation in Northampton County and surrounding counties. Responsibilities Handle client meetings, court appearances, drafting, discovery, motions, negotiations, and follow-up communication Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, letters, and settlement materials Maintain accurate file activity, calendaring, billing/timekeeping, and case updates in firm systems Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, court staff, opposing counsel, and support staff Work closely with partners and staff to move matters forward efficiently and provide strong client service Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active Pennsylvania law license required 0 to 3 years of experience preferred Strong legal writing, advocacy, communication, and organizational skills Judicial clerkship, public defender, prosecutor, family law, or criminal litigation experience is a plus New Jersey admission is a plus, but not required Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $60,000 Production bonus equal to 20% of collected attorney-fee revenue attributable to the associate's work Associates meeting expected production targets have a realistic path to total compensation exceeding $100,000 annually CLE and bar dues paid by the firm Malpractice coverage provided by the firm Why Join Us Real courtroom exposure Meaningful responsibility early in practice Direct mentorship from experienced attorneys Opportunity to increase compensation through strong performance Established support staff and active litigation practice To Apply Please submit a resume, writing sample, and brief cover letter describing your interest in family law, criminal defense, and litigation practice.
