Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000 / year
Benefits:

Their Family Law practice plays a vital role in the organization, handling a wide range of sensitive and complex matters with professionalism and attention to detail.
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a seasoned Family Law Paralegal to support a team of attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-driven setting and enjoys making a meaningful impact on clients navigating challenging situations.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working as a paralegal within family law Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing child support and alimony calculations Familiarity with tools used for support calculations (e.g., SupportCalc or similar platforms) preferred Exposure to local county court systems in the region is a plus Experience with legal document management and billing systems (such as iManage or TABS) is advantageous Solid understanding of family law processes, filings, and court procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple active cases Professional, empathetic communication style with a high level of discretion Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certification is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to attorneys within the Family Law practice group Draft, edit, and file legal documents related to divorce, custody, and support matters Assist with financial analysis and preparation of support-related calculations Support case preparation involving division of assets and financial documentation Maintain and organize case files, including discovery and client records Track important case milestones such as court dates and filing deadlines Communicate with clients in a professional and compassionate manner Coordinate filings with local courts using electronic systems Conduct research on relevant legal topics and summarize findings for attorneys Assist with trial readiness, including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics Utilize internal systems for document management and time/billing processes
