Job Description
Key Responsibilities Department Leadership :
Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Long-Term Care Planning team, including planners, care coordinators, paralegals, and legal assistants. Ensure departmental alignment with firm values of Quality, Service, Integrity, and Empathy.Client Engagement :
Conduct consultations and ongoing meetings with clients and families. Develop and implement comprehensive care and Medicaid planning strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor and resolve client concerns professionally.Legal Oversight :
Review and approve legal documents including Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, and Irrevocable Trusts. Supervise benefit entitlement applications and manage appeals as needed.Team Collaboration & Process Improvement :
Mentor staff and ensure accuracy in all client files. Collaborate with planners and professionals to deliver holistic solutions. Recommend and implement process improvements. Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania. Minimum of three years of experience in elder law, estate planning, or long-term care planning. Proven leadership experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
