We're growing! Smith Osburn Cross is a Fort Worth insurance defense firm looking for a remote litigation associate with trial experience. If you want hands-on work and a collaborative team without the BigLaw overhead, read on.
Role Overview Position:
Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney Location:
100% Remote (Must be based in Texas, U.S.). The ideal candidate will primarily work from home, with travel limited to court appearances in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Houston areas.

Whether the client is an entity or an individual, and whether the issues are simple or complex, our attorneys and staff provide focused, personal attention. We stress prompt and clear client communications, and we emphasize the importance of teamwork among our attorneys and staff, and teamwork with our clients. We solve problems. Key Responsibilities Effectively managing cases from start to finish. Conduct and defend depositions and participate in mediations. Prepare for and actively participate in trials. Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and discovery. Maintain prompt, clear communication with clients and internal team members. Qualifications Active Texas Bar License in good standing. Proven litigation and trial experience. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting a collaborative team. Willingness to travel for in-person court appearances in the DFW and Houston areas when necessary.
