Associate Attorney Unifeye Vision Partners - 3.0 Irving, TX Job Details $175,000 a year 2 days ago Qualifications Doctor of Law (JD) Bar Full Job Description Unifeye Vision Partners (UVP) is a physician-led, ophthalmology focused platform built to support independent physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). Our model is grounded in partnership allowing physicians to focus on patient care while UVP provides the operational, legal and administrative infrastructure to support sustainable growth. UVP is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its in-house Legal & Compliance team. This position is hybrid in Dallas, Texas. Position Summary This role will support a broad range of legal matters across physician practice management, ASC partnership models, healthcare regulatory compliance, and employment law. The Associate Attorney will work closely with physicians, operational leaders and cross-functional teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance that aligns with UVP's physician-centric mission & growth strategy. This is an ideal role for a healthcare attorney who enjoys being embedded in the business, values collaboration over silos and wants to help shape a growing, multi-state healthcare platform. Key Responsibilities Healthcare Law Advise healthcare providers and organizations on regulatory compliance, including state and federal healthcare laws. Support matters involving HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality policies and procedures. Draft and review healthcare-related contracts, including provider agreements, employment agreements, and vendor contracts. Assist with investigations, audits, and responses to regulatory agencies. Provide guidance on corporate practice of medicine, licensing, and operational compliance (as applicable).
Employment / Labor
Advise employers on workplace compliance, including wage and hour, discrimination, leave laws, and employee discipline. Draft and revise employment agreements, handbooks, and workplace policies. Assist with internal investigations and employee relations matters. Support litigation matters including administrative charges (EEOC/state agencies), demand letters, and employment-related disputes. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and discovery materials. General Legal Support Manage matters efficiently under attorney supervision while meeting deadlines. Communicate clearly with clients and maintain strong client service standards. Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support case strategy and execution. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D>)from an accredited law school. Active bar license in good standing (state-specific if needed). 5+ years of relevant legal experience. Strong background in healthcare law and employment/labor law strongly preferred. Experience working with healthcare providers (physician groups, hospitals, clinics, long-term care, etc.). Familiarity with HIPAA, Stark/Anti-Kickback basics, licensing, and provider contracting. Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills. Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. In-house or healthcare platform experience. Experience supporting physician practice management or ASC partnership models. Comfort working in a private-equity-backed environment.
