Job Description
Family Law Associate (Seattle Office) We are a fast-growing national law firm that is looking for an experienced family law attorney who wants to join our supportive team. We are searching for someone who has at least two years of experience with family law and can work well with clients who are in stressful, high-conflict times in their lives. We view this position as a long-term career with a partnership track. While we have physical office locations, this is a remote position, so the associate can work from home. However, the associate must have the ability to commute to Snohomish, Pierce, and King Counties for court and meet with prospective clients in person. On the skills side, we are seeking someone who has experience handling a case from beginning to end of the case, which includes mediation and trial. The ideal associate also has experience drafting temporary orders hearings, arguing them, child support worksheets, and completing general discovery. On the personal side, we seek someone who embodies our firm's core values of constant communication with our clients, commitment to excellent work, compassion, and ownership of their work. The ideal candidate is also someone who can work well on their own without a lot of supervision or direction since our culture is one where we let people handle their cases as they see fit.
Application Qualifications:
- Great communication skills with clients since we feel nothing is more important than client communication
- Can handle high-conflict, stressful people
- At least two years experience with family law handling cases from beginning to end
- Experience billing approximately 30 hours per week

120K-175K, depending on experience and hitting bonus targets- 401K match
