Associate Attorney

Attorney Dean Boyd, PLLC is a plaintiff personal injury firm with offices in Amarillo and Lubbock, TX and Albuquerque and Santa Fe, NM. We run a lean, high-performing team and take our work seriously. We're hiring an Associate Attorney to manage cases across the full PI lifecycle in both states. This is an attorney role with no origination requirements, no business development expectations. You'll communicate directly with clients, and work alongside our case managers and legal assistants every day.

THE ROLE

You'll manage cases from pre-litigation through active litigation, including client communication, demand preparation, negotiations, discovery, depositions, prove-ups, and hearing appearances. Travel between our offices will be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed in Texas and/or New Mexico (dual licensure strongly preferred) Dual-licensed candidates: 2-5 years plaintiff PI experience with litigation exposure Single-state licensed candidates: minimum 5 years plaintiff PI experience; must be willing to pursue licensure in the second state Working knowledge of PI case management from intake through trial preparation Strong written and oral communication skills Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing time efficiently Genuine ability to communicate with clients clearly and build trust

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
