Full Job Description for Real Estate Attorney Flushing boutique law firm specializing in real estate is looking for a Bilingual (English/Chinese Languages) Real Estate Attorney with 1-3 years prior experience. Opportunity to train for those law graduates who have passed NYS Bar Exam however. The primary responsibilities would be handling residential real estate transactions from term sheet to closing for sellers, purchasers, and borrowers. Would assist with conducting legal due diligence, which includes reviewing and analyzing coop/condo financial statements, board minutes, offering plan, title and survey. Must have excellent judgement, strong analytical, writing and communication skills.

Must be admitted in New York; Substantial experience in working on all facets of real-estate transactions Strong negotiating skills, excellent analytical and research skills; and Ability to independently multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively. Full Job Description for
Real Estate Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all phases of real estate transactions including: (a) Preparation of initial drafts of Contract of Sale; (b) Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, banks and title companies concerning title issue, mortgage commitment and closing arrangement; (c) Preparation of correspondence/notices (d) Data entry; (e) Drafting Legal Notices; (f) Schedule closing; (g) Organization and maintenance of client files throughout the pre-closing, closing and post-closing process; (h) Post-closing follow-up including checking filings of ACRIS Forms, Deed and maintaining of recorded document files.
Requirements:
  • Working experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple matters
  • Must be able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese.
