Job Description

Great opportunity to joing a growing firm . We are seeking an ambitious attorney to focus on foreclosure matters. Representing creditors, this position focuses on reviewing title, complaints, service of process, handling hearings, and maintaining a caseload. This position also offers the ability to learn and grow in the consumer credit default space. Responsibilities Obtaining judicial foreclosure judgments in both state and federal courts. Resolving mortgage defaults involving deceased borrowers in state district courts and probate courts. Handling contested eviction matters including eviction appeals in state courts. Handling defensive litigation matters through trial involving alleged violations of state and federal statutes and regulations. Collaborating with the firm's other attorneys and the firm's clients to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Draft motions, orders and correspondence. Review title in preparation of handling complaints.
Qualifications:
1 + years of experience handling foreclosure matters. Knowledge of civil procedure. Independently handle a caseload. Update case management system and clients timely. Skills in attending court hearings. Solid organizational skills and the ability to multi-task a large number of matters at once. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong sense of honesty and ethics as an officer of the court Working well with clients and timely responding to inquiries.
