Attorneys are expected to work in the office 3 days per week, with flexibility for focused work outside the office. Note Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Michigan and have 1+ year of litigation experience. Confidential Employer. Job Description Handle a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from early case assessment through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, correspondence, and case strategy materials. Participate in depositions, court hearings, motion practice, trial preparation, and client communications. Manage multiple cases and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization. Work closely with partners, senior attorneys, and support staff to move cases forward efficiently. Analyze legal issues, develop litigation strategy, and help deliver practical solutions for clients. Contribute to a team-oriented culture focused on strong advocacy, professionalism, and high-quality client service. Qualifications Michigan bar license required. 1+ year of litigation experience required. Civil litigation, insurance defense, PIP, or related litigation experience preferred. Experience with depositions, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation preferred. Strong legal writing, research, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively. Professional, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a litigation practice.
