Toxic Torts / Asbestos / Silica Position Overview Our firm is seeking a motivated Attorney with strong litigation or pre-litigation experience to join our growing Toxic Torts team. Prior experience in toxic torts, asbestos, or silica is not required —we provide full training and mentorship. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with a background in general liability, insurance defense, or related areas who is eager to expand their practice into a specialized field. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload, work directly with clients, and gain hands-on experience handling cases from inception through resolution. You'll be supported by a collaborative team while developing the skills needed to excel in toxic tort litigation. Key Responsibilities Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions, and trial preparation Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, mediation, and other forums Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents Provide practical, solutions-focused legal advice to clients Negotiate settlements and help resolve disputes efficiently and effectively Develop strategies to minimize client risk and exposure Qualifications 2+ years of litigation experience (toxic torts experience a plus, but not required ) Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision Strong negotiation, communication, and legal writing skills Background in insurance defense, general liability, or employment defense helpful but not required Licensed to practice in California and in good standing J.D. from an accredited law school Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package Mentorship and professional development opportunities, including training in toxic tort litigation Supportive, team-oriented work environment Bonus opportunities Flexible hybrid schedule - 2 days on-site How to
