Hybrid Exiger is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to serve as a key legal partner to the business. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role will act as a corporate generalist, supporting a wide range of legal, compliance, and strategic initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Global Head of Compliance, and play a critical role in enabling business growth while managing risk.What You'll Do:
Serve as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders across business, operations, and compliance functions Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including commercial and government contracts Partner with business development teams on RFPs, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives Support M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and integration efforts Advise on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters relevant to Exiger's operations Enhance and scale legal processes, templates, and contract lifecycle management practices Support intellectual property strategy and protection efforts Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Company's compliance frameworkWhat You Bring:
Strong business judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives Demonstrated experience as a proactive, solutions-oriented legal partner Deep understanding of government contracting, including the FAR and related frameworks Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions and managing due diligence processes Exceptional analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance High level of ownership, responsiveness, and attention to detailWhat You'll Need:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar 7+ years of legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house experience strongly preferred Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial and government contracts Familiarity with compliance programs and regulatory frameworks Experience supporting corporate transactions, including M&A and investments Working knowledge of corporate governance and entity management (e.g., resolutions, minute books)Why Join Exiger:
