• Full-time Job description: Associate Litigation Attorney Well-established debt collection law firm in San Jose seeks associate attorney to work remotely in Southern California preferably Riverside and or San Bernardino area.

Responsibilities include travel to courts in Southern California with courtroom appearances on most days. The attorney will need to appear and argue on law and motion hearings, have experience in Litigation, Case Management Conferences, Order to Show Cause hearings, Trial Setting Conferences, Trial Readiness Conferences, Settlement Conferences, Trials, and a variety of Post Judgment hearings. There may also be occasional appearances in Federal Court. When no appearances are necessary, the associate will be required to work from home with the assistance from attorneys and paralegals in the main office on a variety of tasks including review and e-signing of documents to be filed with the court, discovery responses, preparing motions and/or oppositions to motion brought by opposing counsel, and other court filings. Qualifications and Skills Admission to the California bar required Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, take initiative, and work under pressure of a heavy caseload Courtroom experience required Federal admission and experience are a plus Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after the introductory period include medical, dental, & vision coverage as well as paid time off.
