Hybrid in Lombard, Illinois, or remote for qualified candidates based on licensure, experience, and team alignment Build the Future of Plaintiff Side Litigation Atlas Law Center is hiring an Associate Litigation Attorney to help advance plaintiff side employment and consumer litigation inside one of the most structured, technology enabled litigation firms in the country. This role is designed for a licensed attorney who wants real federal litigation experience, meaningful client impact, strong mentorship, AI enabled systems, and a clear path to becoming an elite federal litigator. Illinois licensure is preferred. Candidates eligible for Illinois admission, admission on motion, or another available Illinois admission pathway may be considered. Highly qualified attorneys outside Illinois are also encouraged to apply and will be evaluated based on litigation experience, writing ability, jurisdictional reach, and alignment with Atlas standards. The Role As an Associate Litigation Attorney, you will work within a litigation team responsible for moving cases forward with urgency, precision, and care. You will be trained, coached, and expected to take ownership of meaningful litigation work early.
Your work may include:
Drafting and filing charges, federal complaints, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents Managing active litigation matters within structured systems and deadlines Preparing for and participating in mediations, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Working directly with clients to provide clarity, confidence, and advocacy Collaborating with paralegals, senior attorneys, legal operations, and AI enabled tools Contributing to case strategy, issue spotting, and litigation quality Building the judgment, confidence, and presence required of a strong federal litigator You will not be left alone to figure it out. You will receive structure, mentorship, review, and feedback. You will also be expected to prepare, improve, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work. What the First 90 Days Look Like During your first 90 days, you will be integrated into Atlas University, our litigation systems, and your assigned Core Unit. You will complete Level 1 Atlas University training, begin drafting and filing litigation documents, move active cases through structured workflows, participate in strategy sessions, receive weekly coaching on legal writing and litigation judgment, and build fluency in the Atlas approach to federal litigation. The goal is ownership, progress, quality, and trust. Candidate Profile You may be a strong fit if you are: A licensed attorney ready to contribute in a serious litigation environment Preferably licensed in Illinois, or eligible for Illinois admission, admission on motion, or another available Illinois admission pathway An attorney outside Illinois with strong litigation ability who wants to be part of an elite plaintiff side litigation platform A strong legal writer with working knowledge of federal litigation procedure Motivated by client impact, structure, measurable growth, and high standards Comfortable receiving coaching, feedback, and accountability Interested in using AI and legal technology to improve legal service, not replace legal judgment Ready to serve real clients with urgency, compassion, and precision What Success Looks Like Success at Atlas means showing up prepared, thinking critically, caring deeply, and improving consistently.
