Represents children primarily in circuit court dependency proceedings. Advocates for services for children with mental health, behavioral, educational, and other needs. Litigates, drafts legal documents, and advises clients of legal rights. Visits clients in their placements and some intermittent travel is necessary. Works under minimal supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must be self-motivated, take initiative, organized and hard-working. A successful candidate will have the ability to manage and litigate case files and enjoy direct client contact. Must be Florida Bar member eligible to practice law in Florida. Prefer minimum of 2 years experience. Must be computer proficient. Bilingual a plus. Starting salary will depend on experience. Reply with resume and two page writing sample.
