Schedule:
Position is anticipated to begin on a part-time basis (approximately 20-25 hours per week), though qualified full-time candidates are also encouraged to apply, as the position may transition into a full-time role (approximately 40 hours per week).Jurisdiction:
Pennsylvania admission required; Pennsylvania & New Jersey admission preferred. About the Position We are seeking a motivated and experienced attorney to join our established and expanding litigation practice with a primary focus on Labor & Employment Law matters. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters with a primary focus in Pennsylvania and additional matters in New Jersey. While the position is remote, the candidate must be available for in-person court appearances in Pennsylvania as needed. The position is expected to begin on a part-time basis (approximately 20-25 hours per week), with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role. While the primary focus will be employment and labor law litigation, the attorney may also assist with other civil litigation matters depending on experience and firm needs. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong litigation, writing and advocacy skills who is capable of independently managing cases while working collaboratively with the firm's litigation team in a remote environment. Responsibilities Handle labor and employment litigation matters in state and federal courts Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses and settlement agreements Conduct legal research and case analysis Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations and hearings as needed, primarily in Pennsylvania Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, in-house client attorneys, courts and personnel from our Firm Collaborate remotely with attorneys and staff across practice areas Assist with other litigation matters as needed Qualifications Licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania (required) New Jersey bar admission strongly preferred Minimum 2 years of litigation experience preferred Prior labor and employment law experience strongly preferred Strong legal writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Experience practicing in state and federal courts Pennsylvania residency preferred for in-person court appearances as needed What We Offer Fully remote work environment Flexible schedule Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunity for long-term growth and advancement Collaborative and supportive team environment Qualified candidates should submit a resume and a writing sample for consideration.Pay:
