Bankruptcy & Insolvency Matters Represent debtors, creditors, trustees, and other stakeholders in Chapter 11 and related bankruptcy proceedings Assist with all phases of bankruptcy cases, including case strategy, motion practice, and court appearances Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings Support negotiations involving restructuring plans and creditor disputes Restructuring & Workouts Advise clients on out-of-court restructurings and loan workout matters Assist borrowers and lenders in navigating distressed situations Participate in negotiations involving debt restructuring and repayment strategies Analyze financial and operational issues impacting restructuring efforts Distressed Transactions Assist with the purchase and sale of distressed assets Support assignments for the benefit of creditors and related insolvency proceedings Conduct due diligence and transaction-related analysis Work closely with clients and deal teams on restructuring-related transactions Litigation & Strategic Counseling Assist with bankruptcy-related litigation and contested matters Draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents Participate in settlement negotiations and strategic case planning Advise clients on risk management and insolvency-related business decisions Qualifications Required 2-4 years of bankruptcy, restructuring, insolvency, or creditors' rights experience at a law firm Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and related insolvency matters Excellent attention to detail and project management abilities Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively Active California Bar admission Benefits & Work-Life Balance Hybrid work environment offering flexibility and autonomy Formal mentorship program with both senior associate and partner mentors Comprehensive associate training and professional development programs Meaningful opportunities to build client relationships and business development skills Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Employee assistance program with confidential counseling and support services Wellness initiatives and health-focused programming Generous paid time off and paid parental leave Supportive culture that values professional growth while respecting personal time Apply today for a confidential discussion, or reach out to
