Bilingual English/Spanish Attorney - Special Education The Law Offices of Phillip Sparks, APC Job Category Legal Overview Description Attend intake meetings. Attend Individualized Educational Program (IEP) meetings. Communicate with school district, parents and other attorneys via telephone and email, as needed. Attend mediation sand hearings, as needed. Perform legal research. Draft special education complaints, motions and memorandum Perform data entry tasks to input and update client information. Answer phone calls as needed. Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness. Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and manage legal files. Interface professionally with all members of the firm File all electronic documents as needed Prepare client journals, review all of the files and documents for intake meetings, touch base meetings, IEPs, Resolution Sessions, Mediations, and hearings, as needed. Prepare case analysis as needed. Prepare for each phase of litigation in a thorough and detailed manner, as needed. Assist Attorneys with evolving tasks and responsibilities, as needed.
