Bamieh & De Smeth, PLC is looking for a Civil Trial Attorney!

About the job:

We are a fun, dynamic, and family-forward mid-sized trial firm seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team! You will represent clients of all ages who have been injured, molested, or discriminated against from retention through jury verdict. Our trial tested partners will give you the responsibility you can handle so that you feel good about your work while balancing your busy personal life. There is plenty of room to learn and grow, and we are looking for someone who will take full advantage of this opportunity. We have offices in Ventura and Santa Barbara, California. Hybrid work option is available. Competitive salary and benefits offered. You will have the ability to boost your salary based on your case results. Requirements:

At least 3 years of civil litigation experience Trauma informed approach to represent survivors of sexual assault Ability to build rapport with clients and strong emotional IQ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Enthusiasm about embracing AI to maximize our client representation Connection to our firm values: Accountability, Compassion, and Teamwork (ACT)

Responsibilities:

Develop case strategy through the discovery process and jury verdict Persuasively advocate for clients in court Prepare and draft pleadings Negotiate settlements Leverage our case management software and AI to streamline workflow with team members
