gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with our client to identify a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing litigation practice in Houston, Texas . This role is geared toward attorneys seeking to build a long-term career in commercial litigation while gaining significant responsibility and mentorship from experienced litigators.
Position:
Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney (2-5 Years) About the Role The firm is seeking a motivated commercial litigator with early-career experience handling business disputes, financial services matters, or banking-related litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to develop sophisticated litigation skills while working directly with experienced attorneys and business clients. Responsibilities Assist with all phases of commercial litigation Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations Support case strategy development and client communications Manage deadlines and active litigation files Qualifications 2-5 years of commercial litigation experience Banking, lender representation, financial services, creditor rights, or related experience strongly preferred Strong writing and analytical skills Experience with discovery and motion practice Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently Texas Bar admission required Compensation & Benefits Bonus eligibility beginning at 1,600 billable hours Expected annual billables approximately 1,800 hours Comprehensive benefits package Hybrid schedule (1 remote day per week) Why This Opportunity Stands Out Strong mentorship from experienced commercial litigators Sophisticated business litigation matters Opportunity to develop banking and commercial litigation expertise Long-term growth platform Hybrid flexibility Interested?
