Job Description

A well-established, Newport Beach-based law firm is seeking a mid-level Commerical Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This is a broad-based litigation role offering exposure to a diverse docket and the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys while developing the autonomy to manage cases from inception through resolution. Role Overview You will be involved in all aspects of the litigation lifecycle, including: Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Taking and defending depositions Managing day-to-day case strategy and client communication Participating in trials and, where relevant, appeals The firm's practice spans a wide range of disputes, providing varied and consistent work. Practice Areas The team handles matters across: Business and commercial disputes Real estate litigation Intellectual property (trademarks, copyright, trade secrets) Personal injury and wrongful death Proposition 65 matters Consumer protection (CLRA, UCL) Construction disputes Hospitality-related litigation Professional negligence claims Candidate Profile 3-8 years' litigation experience Strong drafting and case management skills Experience handling matters with increasing independence Willingness to work across multiple litigation disciplines Trial exposure preferred but not essential Compensation Base salary: $170,000 - $210,000 (depending on experience) Additional earning potential through performance, hourly, and origination-based bonuses

$170,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
