The firm represents a diverse client base across industries including construction, real estate development, banking, transportation, insurance, and commercial enterprises offering attorneys exposure to a wide range of sophisticated business disputes and litigation matters. Position Overview This role offers a blend of commercial litigation, construction litigation, and other business-related disputes within a collaborative and growing practice. Attorneys in this position will work on active litigation matters involving business owners, contractors, developers, lenders, and commercial clients across a variety of industries. The position provides substantial hands-on responsibility, direct client interaction, and meaningful involvement throughout the litigation process. While some matters may involve real estate or development-related disputes, the primary focus of the role is commercial and construction-related litigation.

Responsibilities may include:

Managing commercial and business disputes through various phases of litigation in state and federal courts Handling construction-related disputes involving contractors, developers, project owners, subcontractors, and related business entities Drafting pleadings, motions, written discovery, and other litigation-related filings Participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and overall case strategy Working directly with clients to provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance throughout the course of litigation Assisting with disputes involving contracts, development projects, lending relationships, and other commercial matters Collaborating with team members while maintaining appropriate ownership over assigned matters Qualifications 3+ years of litigation experience preferred, particularly in commercial litigation, business litigation, or construction litigation Experience handling core litigation responsibilities, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, taking depositions, and attending hearings Strong writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to independently manage assignments and communicate directly with clients Experience with construction-related or real estate-related disputes is a plus, but not required Texas bar license required We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.
